What Services Does MSS offer? +
Our offering is simple. MSS is a registered USA nonprofit organization. This means we are able to offer tax deductible giving solutions to donors. Simply put: Donors who want to give to missionaries will send donations to us, then we will disburse these donations to the missionaries.
Is your fee really 5%? +
Yes! We have a flat 5% fee for all donations plus credit card fees on applicable transactions.
How can I apply? +

How does my partnering with MSS benefit other missionaries? +
Great question! Since we are a small, remote team we are able to re-invest a portion of our 5% fee back into our missionaries. This is done through our benefits program, occasional retirement gifts, tithe gifts, etc.
Whether you are a full time missionary with us, or you are using our crowdfunding platform, or even if you purchase a product on our website, we make sure to prioritize our clients first.

AJ Hanke
CEO/Executive Director
AJ spent 8 years in overseas missions in the South Pacific. He can preach, write, and find a workaround to pretty much anything. When he's not in the office, he's with the family enjoying some hiking and the outdoors. It's been said a time or two he can cook up a mean curry.
Susan & Jason Bushnell
Treasurer/Operations Lead
Jason and Susan began their journey with missions in 2005 with a short-term trip that ignited their commitment to supporting missionaries, leading them to join Missionary Support Services in 2008. They enjoy spending time together in the North Carolina mountains and beaches and a cribbage match is always on the agenda.
Aaron Bucy
Secretary
Aaron is a former MSS client who spent four years in the United Kingdom developing worship leaders, and helping to plant churches. He is a worship leader, writer, and smart mouth. Aaron is Kelly’s husband, and Merritt, Abel, Harper, and Levi’s Dad. They live in Salisbury, North Carolina.
Kathy Walters
Director of Technology
Kathy, an IT expert, has been on our Board since 2021, offering crucial technical support to MSS. She lives in Monroe, NC, with her husband Michael, son John, two dogs, three horses, and a part-time cat. Kathy enjoys horseback riding and singing in the choir at All Saints Anglican Church in Weddington, NC.
